calibredb strange behaviour

I am still missing something.

I try to pull out the OPF structure using:

Code:
calibredb show_metadata --as-opf 1127 >zzzzz.txt
and immediately typing

Code:
calibredb set_metadata 1127 zzzzz.txt
produces this error:
Code:
Python function terminated unexpectedly
'charmap' codec can't encode characters in position 280-283: character maps to
 <undefined> (Error Code: 1)
Traceback (most recent call last):

UnicodeEncodeError: 'charmap' codec can't encode characters in position 280-283:

What's the catch ? I attached the xxxxx.txt file and the original metadata.opf from Calibre DB.
