MetaData editor

The following is a snippet from a PG file.

Code:
  <title>Jeff Benson, or the Young Coastguardsman, by R.M. Ballantyne</title>
  <meta content="R.M. Ballantyne" name="Author" />
  <meta content="Jeff Benson, or the Young Coastguardsman" name="Description" />
The MetaData editor picks up and diaplays all metadata except for the <title>. Is there a reason for this was it an oversight?
