GuteBook, the Project Gutenberg eBook Maker/Front-end, uses the EText-No./URL to PG HTML (or TXT as a fallback) to directly retrieve, fix, and filter the HTML and convert it simultaneously into various eBook formats, including .epub/.lrf/.mobi/.lit/.imp/.rb.
This project was created by nrapallo, May 10, 2009, and was adapted from the gutlrf.pl code written by FangornUK, 10th Nov 2006.
GuteBook (Windows GUI and Perl script) directly retrieves and converts Project Gutenberg HTML files (using the Etext-No. or URL) into single/many ebook formats using calibre's ANY2LRF/EPUB/MOBI/LIT tools for Sony lrf/.epub, Mobipocket .mobi and Microsoft .lit versions. It also creates .imp/.rb versions using ETI's eBook Publisher for the EBW1150/REB1200 and Rocket/REB1100. Afterwards, facilitates the re-creation of the various ebook formats if/when the source HTML is further tweaked/modified via batch files (for advanced/picky users).
