Spot what's missing in the CSS
Hi Guys I have an epub which validates everywhere and views on everything except ADE (which reverts to unformatted text)
http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...icture1-28.png It's been suggested that it's because I have something wrong in my CSS file. I've attached it here in the hope someone can tell me where... As I've been staring at it for way to long, I can't see the forest for the trees so to speak. I know it's not the cleanest CSS out there, but it does the job for me... thanks. |

I've been saying for a while now that people need to use the css validator for problems like this. If all the formatting vanishes in your ebook under ADE it's a sign of only one thing - you've made a spelling mistake in the css or left out a semi-colon. The css file needs to be perfect or ADE will throw out everything.

And for the people playing at home...
It turn out that InDesign CS3 WILL put the "" around the font names in the Template.CSS InDesign CS5 WILL NOT put them in.... Something to look out for |

Amazing how some parts of Adobe forget about the standards other parts of Adobe help write!
