A friend of mine talked to someone @ 3GSM about the Cellular Book (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9647). He was able to dig out the following new information:

The 4Gb model (there won't be other sizes, at least initially) will cost above 600 Euro (~ USD 780)
The Cellular Book won't be available before Q3 2007

I don't know but usually price tags in Europe include VAT.
