Hi Harry,
It's in the very early stages, but it is intended to be more UK centric focusing on using and living with the Kindle in UK, UK 3G services etc, UK eBook pricing / accessories etc. |

Things are progressing quite well now, so if anybody fancies a quick look around the forum ( http://www.kindleusersforum.co.uk ), we'd more than welcome your feedback.

I would rather have people from the UK writing here as well as from all other places rather than have a german, english, french, portuguese forum... Why isolate themselves from the rest of the world?

MobileRead has members world wide, representing every ebookreader made. That can only increase the books, authors and help available. Perhaps, tho, I'm missing something. Can you explain why you need a "UK only" site? |

I have a bit of a different view. If you want to have your own boards, fine. There are lots of Kindle related boards all over the net. My issue is the bumping up of this thread to talk about your UK forum (using it for advertising). It's one thing for you to post here and have a link to your UK forum in your sig but just posting to talk about your UK forums seems wrong to me.
How would you feel if MR members joined your forum and did what you're doing here? |
