Hi to all,

I have made some icons and pictures for the Iliad. Download, Unzip, Copy, Install and Enjoy. They are for Firmware 2.8. I call it a "Iliad Theme" and it looks nicer than the original Files.

The Icons are free for private use.

They are from his Icon-A-Day Project and I have them a little bit modified to match the Iliad.

Install:
You must have the "Shell Hack" from Irex for Version 2.8.
Copy the Folder somewhere on your Iliad and Run it.
You can also restore the original Files.

After install, a restart is required !!!

If you design up a SH icon I think I can make that work.

We will also need a DJVU, RTF and Graphic Novel Icon if the SH icon works...

By the way, what's a contentLister.rc file? You under NDA with iRex? :D

Wow! :happy2: iLiad's gui is completely brainwashed now. It looks much more vivid. I like the white background.

Maybe we need a new section on MR: iLiad Themes!?
It is so easy. Cool, just by changing a few png files we got a complete new visual look.

[Edit]: I will change Contentbar_grey.png, because imho it could look better. :cool:

I just started playing around with a few StarTrek icons...I have the UFP logo popping up at shutdown now...but it's difficult to take Star Trek logos that are understandable and cool from the large collection. I'll give it a go if I have time (I'll be away for the weekend so it could be that I won't make it that soon) and we'll see whether it meets with approval. Many of the logos and icons lose a lot of style when they are not in color, the UFP logo is one of those...we'll see...

Indeed! This is like a new 'face'. You see it every time, not like some features that are semi-hidden and only used from time to time.

I tried my luck with the StarTrek Theme.
I did some work on it, but I can see that I'm not going to get this done anytime soon, so I'm posting the work I did so far and hope somebody will pick it up and continue.

I used Snoopy's install/uninstall package and just started replacing all the icons he made with StarTrek themed ones.

Whoever picks this up...have fun... :-)
