View Full Version : Problem with TOC

With my last epub upload, although the TOC works fine, it doesn't have the characteristics that it should. The plates of the epub have h5 headings, whereas the chapters have h3, thus there should be chapter headings with plate subheadings. As the image of my TOC show, it is correct for the first plate, the frontispiece, but not for the others even though coding is the same for all images.

I'm using Sigil 0.2.3, Loaded Qt 4.6.3

The html coding is thus:
Chapters:
<h3 id="heading_id_3">LONDON CLAY.</h3>

Plates:
<h5 id="ill_id_3"><img alt="fig2" class="tablrg" src="../Images/Plate_IIgray.png" /> <span class="white">Plate II. Craig.</span></h5>

I've tried everything I can think of including unzipping and studying the configuration of the the TOC file, but nothing I've been trying seems to fix the problem.

Does anyone have any idea what causes this problem?
Bob

Create a new issue on the tracker and attach the epub file. See this wiki page. (http://code.google.com/p/sigil/wiki/ReportingIssues)

The same thing happens to me quite a bit.

I will set the Part One to H1 and then set the Chapters to H2. The first part will work properly. But then Part Two though set the same as Part One (H1 and Chapters set at H2). It will show in the TOC like I have set Part Two and Chapters as H1.

I do all this manually since I don't know a lick of html.

Going to go see if a ticket was ever created.
