Seems like IPad now has an analogue :D

Below is Google translation of our local news. Sorry for quality.

In the Chinese city of Shenzhen on May 27 went on sale Tablet PC iPed. The device is running under mobile operating system Google Android.

In general, the tablet resembles Apple iPad, but has a more rounded body. Interfaces of both devices are almost identical. Unlike its competitor, iPed equipped with an Intel, but not developed by Apple chip A4. Also iPed heavier than the iPad.

The Chinese model has at least two names. On the screen, where the application is usually iPod, there is an inscription iPed. At the same time in the manual written by another name - APad.

iPed worth $ 105, almost five times cheaper devices Apple. It is worth noting that iPed sold in the same place is the company's factory Foxconn, which collect iPad.

Shenzhen is where iPads are assembled for Apple - not too great a leap to copy the specs and DIY an iPed.

I wonder if the IPED is going to get its own subforum now?

Please use the "More Devices" forum if you wish to discuss this device; that's what it's there for.

Can you move us then?

No, I don't mean THIS thread should be moved :). I was replying to your post about having a new sub-forum. We don't need one, because the main body of the "More Devices" forum is there to talk about devices which don't currently have their own forum. If they get sufficiently popular that a dedicated forum is justifiable, we create one. I think, though, that it's fairly unlikely that this device will qualify ;).
