None of the update files, or hacked bin installers could work with the 'Holding Home' Recovery Mode.

Anyone could come up with any solutions? Would this be covered by Amazon warrant?

Call Amazon Custumer Service... I'm sure they'll be happy to help you trouble shoot, and will give suggestions of what to do, if nothing works...

Someone else's kindle on the Amazon forum got stuck yesterday. I think a restart - using the slider wake button, for 15 seconds fixed it..But as it is an Amazon file, CS will also help.
