So from my understanding I can only use the included stylus for the touchscreen. Although I don't like the reflection on the Sony PRS-600, having to use stylus for everything seems kind of limiting.

What happens if I lose the stylus? What's so special about the stylus and can it "break"?

The touchscreen is a Wacom sensor. It won't work without a Wacom stylus.

And if you don't have the stylus, you can still do practically everything with the button.

But the way they designed the physical controls you can do everything with them except scribble on the screen and selection zoom. all other functions can be done with the concentric buttons.

That's pretty good. How much does a replacement stylus cost?

Replacement of the stylus was also discussed in this (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79565) post. I don't know the price or if any of the sellers have replacements in stock.

Here is one example of a replacement stylus that fits the slot in the Boox. There are probably many more sources. http://www.justread.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p6_iLiad-Stylus.html

I use my iRex "Professional" stylus with the Neo. Works beautifully, and it's much nicer than the included stylus.
