Just find a Non-English PDF problem for sony reader, it is really strange:

I tried to print a word file (Chinese content, more than 100 pages) to PDF document (all fonts embeded), using Adobe Acrobat (or PDF Creator). Sony Reader couldn't display the whole document. The pages are all blank in the reader's viewer. But if I just print some pages of this word document (such as 5 pages), the reader works and displays correctly. All PDF output setting are same. I also tried many English PDF documents, it doesn't have this problem.

Anyone has some idea about this problem? I think by now most of the sony reader owners are english users, you won't encounter this weird situation.

Can you try PrimoPDF (http://www.primopdf.com/) free PDF printer? I use it with big (up to 700 reader sized pages) Russian docs without any problem.

Thanks Slava, I just tried PrimoPDF, it is all the same. Sony Reader couldn't work with the whole PDF document with all pages. But for small one (5 pages), it is OK? Still confused.

Just to rule it out: I'm assuming that the PDF worked fine on your PC?

Can you try this PDF (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=100)? Created with FinePrint pdfFactory (http://www.fineprint.com/products/pdffactory/index.html).

Cheers!!! Thanks Slava, your PDF file works! I also converted some docs using pdfFactory, it is great.

Anyway, I still try to figure out why sony reader is not compatible with the Chinese PDFs generaged by Adobe Acrobat or PDFCreator with all fonts embeded.

My only complaint about pdfFactory, PDFs created with this printer need twice time to page turn, then ones created with PrimoPDF.
