I'm about to go on a cross country road trip and would like to have the site www.gasbuddy.com on my E2. I tried to follow a tutorial I found on here, but that had to do w/ sites that have printer friendly pages. Can someone please help me filter out all the ads and unwanted junk on these pages? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to have this info.

Thank you,
Rynn

Unfortunately, there's really no way to do that. You can configure Sunrise to ignore the links that go to the advertising sites, but you can't filter out the ads themselves. That's why printer-friendly pages are so important to Sunrise users. But, as you mention, there are none here.

You can still filter out advertising images, though.

I didn't know that. I thought your only choices were to accept or reject all images. How do you do that?

See attached Engadget example. This filters out the Google ad-tracking images. See the Link Filters section on the Advanced tab.

Nice trick, Laurens!

I hadn't even thought about the fact that some ad images are pulled in by links. Thanks!

Rynn01, have you considered simply allowing NO images? It doesn't seem to be necessary to have them...
