Has anybody ever tried to set up a book for reading on these TV DVD viewers ?
Since some of them sport SD card readers it is posssible to bring content in JPEG format. Now does anyone know how a book could clearly be read on one of these things ?

You might start by converting a PDF to image files -- Acrobat Pro 7 lets you save as a PNG files (1 per page).

Don't know if the screen resolution would be good enough to actually read that, though....

I guess if one saves the file in a small format like the Iliad's with a big font. Does it mean that you have to save every page as a JPEG ?

I tried it with a ~14 page doc using the "save as" option. It spat out 14 (or however many pages it actually was) PNG files into the directory I specified. They were all named "originalfilename_#.PNG" (where # was a sequential number). If you need JPG's specifically, a lot of graphics software will do batch conversions. :)

I suppose you'd want to change the numbering to 001, 002, etc. to get them to sort correctly for display....
