In moving to a new computer, I made a copy o what I thought was the sunrise documend list, the .sxl file. Looks like Sunrise is actually expecting the .sdl file. Is it possible to load the .sxl file into Sunrise, or do I have to manually recreate a new doc list?

Which version of Sunrise are you using? Sunrise XP (the newest non-Java version) uses SXLs; it's up to version 2.0. SDL's are from what I believe is an older java-based version of Sunrise (Sunrise Desktop) version 0.42.

I suggest you use Sunrise XP if possible-- works much better. I believe that Laurens provided a way to import the older SDLs into Sunrise XP but it's been a long time since I dealt with that and don't remember much.

I think that's it, thanks. Somehow I installed .4 onto my new machine. I have the sxl (the new format version) so I'll install that latest Sunrise and use the sxl file.
