Hi Iliad geeks, I have created a set of new templates for note taking. These include a
- ruled
- squared
- plain
- music and
- sktoryboard (large/small) template
Just copy them into the notes folder when the iliad is mounted.
I have "localized" them in German and English. Give me a short note if I forgot an essential type of template :-) It there dot-sth. files in the zip archive, just ignore them, I created the archive on a mac.

Thanks!
this is nice to play around with. i'm having serious troble writing music however since the writing appears quite far above the tip of the pen thus making it VERY hard to hit the lines. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have experienced the same. Same problem with writing on the lines or making graphs directly on the squared lines. That's lack of the calibration function for the pen. Once calibration is implemented everything should work fine.

Until the calibration function is in, try changing the angle you're writing at, makes a big difference, and sometimes also change to the eraser and back to the pen when it really goes way off the tip, that seems to put it back in place.
I can throw in a paper with hexagons. I'm probably the only person to need this stuff, but I'll share anyway.

share ahead all of you...if we don't need it we can find ways to use it nevertheless...^^
Calibration is on the dev. TODO list by the way, so we should see it sometime...let#s hope soon...:-)

I was just thinking that, apart from things like lines, squares and hexagons, perhaps there are templates that would be useful. For example, to jot down some details for an appointment, or a new contact while you're out.
For example:
Name: _______________________________
E-Mail: _______________________________
Phone: _______________________________
Iliad MAC Address: ___ Just kidding :) ____
Not quite the same as having real PDA facilities, but at least you'd have the information.
Obviously, you could just scribble everything down, but I can imagine uses where having the item names there in front of you as prompts would work as a reminder of what you should be recording.
It could also have potential value when OCR-ing to content later.
Just a thought.

@Ali looks amazing, what do you do with that kind of template? :-)
@Harryo I thought about having sth. like an address book to exchange my paper based one. Since multipage notes and insertion of pages at any point (just go to the page you want to insert a new page after and tick on the new page icon) are working it is possible to hold addresses in one notes file. This is quite comfortable from my pov.
I will experiment and post an address book template today or next days.
How about a weekly calender or a memo form?

Hey, you are helping me too much!
I see increasingly overworked iLiad in the future...
