I just received my iLiad today. It's beautiful, but there's a major problem with the Wacom pen; namely, there are two vertical strips running the length of the screen which don't respond at all to the stylus. Below is a picture I took with my camera phone (sorry for the poor image quality) where I tried to completely color in a Notes page; the two white strips are the dead areas.

Have sent emails to iRex, but would appreciate any advice (and if anybody knows exactly which iRex email I should get in touch with, I'd appreciate it; I can't find anywhere which actually says: "This is the address to contact with support questions", so I just sent emails to shop@irextechnologies.com and techsupport@irextechnologies.com)

I sent them emails. The only reply I got was from the shop email address, but they said I had to call the tech support number (which entailed buying a calling card so I could call europe and getting up early in the morning to call. Grrr.)

Try to post your problem on the irex forum (www.irextechnologies.com - forum). They are very responsive there.

I did (http://forum.irexnet.com/viewtopic.php?t=147). Two days ago. No responses yet. I'm about to call customer service, assuming the phone card I have works.

In case anybody cares, I sent my iLiad back to iRex yesterday for repairs.
