Iliad claims it's connected to the PC, PC can't see Iliad nor its contents.

USB connection under WinXP is fine, no problem. Unfortunately, I need a working connection with the Win98 PC...

Will I be ridiculed and humiliated for asking a Win98 question in this forum?

AFAIK, Windows 98 needed special drivers for every type of USB disk (thats why most of them ship with a CD). Irex hasnt provided a Win 98 driver till now it seems. The question is, if they ever will. Win 98 is long out of support.
