I plugged my Iliad into the charger tonight and turned it on , and the screen is all streaky and distorted. No matter what i do , i can see it doing stuff under a grey haze with white streaks have you ever seen anything like this ?

more on this, it was normal grey before i switched it on, now the screen is covered by black blodges and vertical lines ... even when switched off the pattern is the same.

Looks like the screen has given up the ghost... cannot believe it, what would cause this ? it has hardly been used.

hm. that really sounds like a hardware problem. Power cycling doesn't fix it, i assume?

Maybe it's time to get a support ticket from their support line.
