Ok so I live in London. What are the chances of us getting taxed when we bring our new loved ones (the iliad) into the country?? I sometimes get taxed when buying good from amazon.com or ebay.com

But we've already been taxed VAT by Irex.

Irex is in the EU so you shold not be taxed. Only tax is the VAT which is to settled in the country of purchase. As you already have paid this no more tax should be applied.

UK types, may still get charged duty on top of the VAT charge.

But you are correct that you should not be charged the VAT again.
