you should try it.

Sit down on the floor, take your left foot in your left hand (grab the outside middle of the foot) and the same with your right hand and foot.
then pull aout and up, forming a broad A-shape with you legs and holding your feet as high up in the air as you can without falling over and straighten your legs out completely (or as far as they go, my knees usually refuse to go very far...).
Keep your upper body/back straight.

Now let go with your hands but keep you legs up. Kick towards the insides of your open hands 10 times, then cross your arms and wait a minute, keeping legs up all the time, then repeat.

and remember...smile like a maniac ALL THE TIME!

and to prevent misunderstandings..you are not allowed to lie on your back...this is a sitting exercise, or rather a balancing one... (can someone tell me how to write exercise correctly please? Thanks Laurens.)

I cannot imagine that interconnecting SAP stuff will be possible in such a short time. Actually they could still do things manually to hold their promised day. In my opinion this additional delay is really bad for the company image. If you promise a certain day in business you have to make it - often a stress- and painful process as all businessmen know - or you will loose credibility and customers.

I thought they had Iliads in stock in Düren and were negotiating something to do with european transport.

I think that maybe SAP does the transport from the Phillipines and then UPS picks up the devices in Düren and transports in Europe...but I'm not sure...it's sad that even at this late stage there still is no certainty that the devices will actually ship tomorrow. Also, I'd like to know how many...They answer most of my questions very quickly and efficiently at the moment, but I don't think it would make a lot of sense the ask them about that...but maybe i'll do it anyway...^^

Meditation isn't working...om

I just went ahead and called iRex.
They said the device was in the hands of UPS but couldn't be more specific...yeah...cool...now I'm still not sure. The lady on the phone alos told me that shipping started should mean the device was shipped on friday...but again...she didn't seem to know what was really going on and whoever she talked to in the background seemed to be just about as clueless as she was...great.
Now I actually went to the nerve-wracking effort of calling the and still am no wiser.
They also said that the UPS tracking number could arrive a day later...which is weird because it should be here after 24 hours so the tracking number would reach me after the device if that is true...however, I have to protect iRex somewhat on that count, because I've had that same experience with UPS and other transporters myself...

It is all in the capable hands of UPS who are -as usual- late in releasing tracking numbers.
However, everyone who ordered should get his/her tracking number in the next couple of days.
That is to say, today, tomorrow or wednesday.
If you haven't received a tracking number from UPS by closing time on wednesday, please contact Irex.

Yep, same reply I got, but even probing didn't get me any further information, especially whether they shipped it on Friday or Today...

I've seen DHL and DPD drive by so far but no UPS and I won't be able to relax before I've seen them come and go...and they can arrive at any time during the day here...oh bother...

I am having not too many problems if they cannot realize their plans (except that I think that this is poor planning and therefore unprofessional) in time. But I have some problems, when people are assuming that I am some kind of stupid. Unfortunately the whole Irexshop story we are told just looks this way...

I'll give them the benefit of doubt one more time. If they fail to deliver by wednesday (deliver at least some definite infortmation) I might just consider something radical...like canelling my order...but it#d be a hard decision...

Just as a side note - i ordered this morning around 10.20 at a very small internetshop which works with UPS.

I got my order confirmation in under 1 minutes by the shop and a few minutes ago i got the message that the order is on its way and my UPS tracking number was also inside.

So i don't like the feeling that irex seem to think we are complete stupid monkeys believing their fairy tale about Webshops, SAP modules and now its UPS who need so much time. Do they think we are completly stupid? Why not tell us the truth like "Hey we don't have any device" or "We have the devices but we have done nothing yet".

Sorry to sound angry but there is nothing whiche drive me more nuts then beeing treated like a fool ...

They have not been shipped yet. This is very stupid, but I am trying to fix a lot of problem with the interfaces.

Assume devices are not shipped until you receive a tracking number from UPS.
If they do not do that, means that the device is not shipped. I am on top of this, believe me. I will let you know as soon as the problem is sold.

Truth is that Irex has the customer relation service of Genghis Kahn on a bad day but as long as I am geting my Iliad somewhere in the next two, three weeks, I couldn't care less.
The suspence even has a big element of -I think I can call it- fun, in it too.

I am really beginning to like you guys and a smooth service from Irex would have made me miss that experience.

I can wait, like High 5, although I am really really eager to receive it... but, apart from not having shipped, what's happening with the rest of the orders? They "apparently" shipped some, stopped processing, didn't actually ship the first, and since then... nothing. Was that it? Do they only plan to ship (if they find out how to, lol) on Fridays??? Unfortunately I'm too far into this to be calmed easily.
It's not the extra couple of days actually. It's more the fact that we've been chasing from one "maybe launch" to the other. I'm not sure waht's going on at iRex, but I think I could have handled all those orders by hand (packaging, writing addresses and stacking for pickup) faster than iRex has managed with their SAP-UPS pipeline and advanced systems.

There is a service called "Online Shipping" that UPS offers where you can do the whole preparation from your chair and UPS then just comes over with the finished papers and oicks up the packages. With this the whole process would also have been over long ago. What is iRex doing? There are many ways to handle this, but all of them are fairly easy to use and require just one Person in Eindhoven sending addresses to UPS and one person in Dueren who opens the door for UPS and shows them where the boxes are.
Since iRex didn't make it today (it's five) they'll have to start shipping tomorrow...so that would mean Wednesday for the Germans and later for the rest of the EU...but how many times have we thought that it's almost done?

Its not only the wait of a few more days ...

The whole thing .... just smells fishy ... thats the problem i think. I mean in a few days its 1 month ago they took away the money from us. And still no delivery. I mean how much do you know about Irex? Its better then a 2 out of 3 negative voted ebay seller but in the end no one to trust very much with all these obvious wrong "excuses" ...

iRex is however a Phillips "spinoff" and we have Henrique and Branko Collins as proof that they really exist...we've seen a rep on TV and talked to them on the phone...it isn't real proof, but it's at least a small comfort...

Yes i also made up my mind about it but in the end i came to this conclusion. "Phillips spinoff" means nothing from a financial point of view ...

And we all know that they are a real company with a real product which made it already into some TV interviews ...

But what we don't know is i.e. if they maybe went short of money cause something delayed the e-ink technologie in general (see every device beering delayed lately like i.e. the Sony Reader).

Now calming us down with the hope their devices will maybe arrive in a few weeks ... who knows 100% ? We will if they really ship in a few days but if not i would be alarmed ...

I mean i pre-ordered much in my life and watched alot of products releases but never ever i have seen someone beeing billed for an order 1 month before shipment !

Think of poor me, in Australia, wanting an irex as badly as you guys do, but I have to wait longer than you all... Well, what is it? We all want to follow your package.
I guess UPS will have a lot of traffic on their site today ... and tomorrow :)

What all of us would interest is the status "BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED" or "ORIGIN SCAN"

That shows if the packet was already picked up (which could implement that they really have devices ...) and they are to lazy to send out the UPS tracking # as soon as they get it or if UPS still has to pick it up ...

UPS status says "Billing information received" which isn't as good as I had hoped.
But it's "Express Saver" option, so it should travel quickly once it's underway.

Please remember though Sischa, that my order was one of the few "handpicked" ones, so you can't really compare it to the normal shipments that are supposed to start tomorrow.

i'll keep you informed as the status progresses.

The reason for this is, that I've been getting along with them quite well and don't want to ruin the good relations with over-enthusiastic mailing...^^

In all fairness, I don't think anyone here had an order below 300, so shipping of iliad's could well have started and they just havn't got to us yet.

And satisfaction is the wrong word, its more that i don't care anylonger. I think it would be nice to see the possibilities of e-ink devices in our company but in the end i have to admit that iRex as a business partner maybe would be even more horror (specially for me to deal with them :D).
