Sony has been very quiet about its Reader. I suspect this has to do with them not being able to complete their e-book store (http://ebooks.connect.com/) on time. Of course I wish to know more details as well!

Sony is still offering to buy "Da Vinci Code" in it's ebooks.connect.com and to have time to read it... again before today's (May, 19) film release :D

It is interesting that at least one very small change has been made to the Sony store page that lists the Reader.

It used to say "notify me" or some such. Now it says "Update Me" and takes you to a separate page for the notification. Very minor change, maybe just website
reorganization. Amazing what we can read into little things when companies treat us like the proverbial mushroom. At least it still says "Spring"....

Interesting. I called the Sony Store here in Dallas yesterday, and the lady told me they haven't received a date yet. I don't think Sony's communicating even with their stores.

Thats what Im thinking. None of the new generation eink devices are showing up.

eink is not in shortage...I think that much can be established from all we've heard so far. The delays are caused by Sofware and publishing/legal issues.
