Hi,

Just a note on some of these.

There are some of these that may be better to be browsed than converted by Isilo or the such.

It appears that, in order to get everything, the conversion time is rather long.

If time is no issue, then disreguard this and enjoy.

There's another interesting list of mobile friendly resources referenced by AllAboutPalm.com and found here... http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/webguidereal.htm

Thanks alot for this one. As I still struggle with finding an open hotspot and the device itself, here in Germany, this is quite nice to have such a list. I was always too lazy to track back good resources and said to myself: "There will be someone doing it" ;))

Hey Bob !
I wouldn't say this is an "interesting" list, since there are many outdated links on that webpage, and since there are, elsewhere on the web, many more lists that are more complete and up-to-date.

Here for instance :)

Hi,

It seems, at least temporarily, a few of these have changed.

New link for Orlando Sentinal http://mobile.orlandosentinel.com

New link for Baltimore Sun http://mobile.baltimoresun.com

New link for Chicago Tribune http://mobile.chicagotribune.com

The first two pretty much contain the same content but the link for Chicago Tribune is not as good.

I wil update if the links for any of the sites above change.

Hi, It seems, at least temporarily, a few of these have changed.

Did you notice how the content provider changed from UnifiedMobility (http://www.unifiedmobility.com/) to mLogic Media (http://www.crispwireless.com/products/media) for those URLs that have changed?

Hi,

Yes I did.

I really liked the other links as asthetically, they looked better and were easier to navigate.

Kind of weird to go from one carrier to another overnight.

BaltimoreSun website still has the wireless info for UnifiedMobility so I am hoping these come back but it is probably not likely.

Hi,

Another update.

It appears that any site, that start with "http://mobile." are gone.

If you delete the "/mobile.php?UMPG=index" off of the end, you get a version of the site.

They will be different than the other ones.

Sorry for the confusion but there is some good news.

The links that start with the numerical address appear to still be good.

Also found another link for the Chicago Sun-Times http://206.130.125.112/mobile.php?UMPG=index and there is no sign in with this link.

Enjoy,

David

Hi,

Me again.

The info in the post directly above is valid but here is some additional info.

The links that have changed also have a numerical address that retains the layout and content that these sites had when this thread started.

I am going to post the ones I use or feel most people will be interested in.

L.A.Times http://206.130.125.15/mobile.php?UMPG=index

NewsDay http://206.130.125.20/mobile.php?UMPG=index

Orlando Sentinal http://206.130.125.19/mobile.php?UMPG=index

Chicago tribune http://206.130.125.18/mobile.php?UMPG=index

Baltimore Sun http://206.130.125.16/mobile.php?UMPG=index

Sun-Sentinal http://206.130.108.181/mobile.php?UMPG=index

If there are others that need to be relocated, let me know and I will put up the new url.

Sorry for the scatterbrained way the last few posts are but these did just change over the course of today, so to keep people up to date, well, you see the results.

Hope these posts help.

David
