Je n'ai pas trop d'expérience avec les magasins d'électronique, si l'on exclue la FNAC et Virgin. (Et j'ai trop d'expérience avec les livrairies traditionnelles, et je dois les éviter :book2:.)

Et bien sûr, je suis disponible pour un café l'après-midi du 14, si quelqu'un veut me rencontrer...

RROOOOO, je suis à Paris pour une seule nuit, le 11, et j'arrive tard pour repartir tôt, je fais juste un stopover pour déposer mes crapauds. C'est rageant, j'aurai adoré prendre le café avec vous 2!!!!

Je suis désolée, mais ça va pas le faire. Quidam est très c... en ce moment, ce qui pourrait être lié au fait que son compte en banque a rétréci considérablement depuis que je visite ce forum et que les liseuses arrivent les unes après les autres à la maison :chinscratch: :chinscratch: ?

i don't actually like shopping much but i guess i recommend you go les halles (all my friends will faint when they read i "recommend" les halles, i hate that place :rolleyes:) it's a giant underground shopping centers where i invariably get lost, but you can probably find what you want in one of the eleventy million shops there. ;) word of warning, everything is closed on sunday, and saturday it will be mayhem. good luck !

I can confim, Le forum des halles on satruday, ouch. (and shops there open at 10pm).

Else, you have the classics Grand Magasins around haussmam. Quite a few stuff around Montparnasse too. And les 4 temps near la Défance. (But beware weirdo case for train tickets, it's considered in paris if you go by métro, and out of Paris if you go by RER)

To get into the Halles Mall from the Châtelet métro station you have to get through the RER system or take the ligne 4 (which is simpler and make you avoid the confusing RER hall, the one with the RATP shop (the towels and souvenirs one ;) ).

i agree with juliette, better to take the line 4 métro than the rer to go to les halles ! another tip, pay attention which entrance (porte) you used, so you can find it later (if you're lucky...) i always get lost the instant i set foot in les halles (that's why i never go there. well, that and the crowds).

Avec plaisir :) J'en ai parlé avec un membre italien du forum (un technicien) et paraît-il qu'il y a des problèmes avec une série particulière de Cybooks, ce qui donne du retard aux autres problèmes, comme un nouveau firmware. :O

Just returned from Paris! I had a wonderful time and we packed in lots of sightseeing, museaums, food, shopping and even caught the marathon yesterday. Really did alot in only 2 days. wasn't enough time, I'm already planning when I can go back. Very expensive though...
