:help:I tried to open a 120Mb pdf on USB from my iliad and it hanged, so I pressed the reset pin on the back and reboot it, but it then hanged on at 100% progress bar and the LED kept blinking...:eek:

I saw several cases reported like this, and the suggested solution is to refresh from CF card. but unfortunately I didn't register the MyiRex account thus cannot download the cfcontent file or anything.

is there any way I can check the file system via terminal or something?

WHAT SHOULD I DO? Can anyone help??

Is your iLiad China version? If yes, you should seek help from your dealer in China. Hacking of China version is seldom discussed in MobileRead. IIRC, in some China forum, some uniqe methods have been developed specifically for China version to get shell access. I guess you can get more useful help there.

Oh, I thought I 've lost it but it came back suddenly this morning! No refreshing or hacking is needed.(just by a single touch by my girlfriend!lol) I don't know what went wrong but it seems temporary...

for those who happen to encounter problems like this: don't panic, just try again sometime and it may be ok :)

to ericshliao: yes, it is a Chinese version. I have no confidence in the dealer since the warranty is already expired and iliad is a rather old toy of iRex...still, THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE!
