Strange Quick Reply box
While using Firefox today, in the quick reply box I get a "Wrap [quote] tags around selected text" rather than the icon. Anyone else seeing this?
If I click outside the Quick Reply Box, the regular box is displayed. WDE. *edit* added one more attachment of another icon not displaying Last edited by Wetdogeared; 07-24-2009 at 11:40 AM. Reason: Added attachment |

I'm using Firefox and also got the "funny" quick reply boxes. Another time, I got a box whose right and left sides were not connected.
I just figured it was something wonky with my computer. Once I clicked "go advanced" it gave me the normal "go advanced" box. After posting, I checked the quick reply box and it was back to normal. **** Well, right now, I keep trying to post this and when I click preview post..... arrrrgh..... 500 internal service error.... OK, fourth time a charm.. it finally worked**** |

I do get it sometimes... Looks like a picture isn't loading in that case.
(I also miss the icon of the Lounge forum for example) |

This is the case if an image is not loading or timing out. It is the replaced by the ALT text which is what you see. A time out could occur for various reasons... Perhaps a slow internet connection, or something slowing down the link between you and MR. Nothing serious, but next time you can try to refresh your browser to make sure it attempts to load the images again rather than relying on its cache. Once the images are in your cache, you should have no problems anymore (unless you delete your browser cache again).
