I am albus dumbeldore. Hope ypu have heard of me. Lately i was listening a lot about Lord of the rings. checked diagnon ally but did not get e-text. can you help

Hi Albus,
Unfortunately, LOR is not legally available in e-book form. It's a shame because the very same people that really like that series are often the ones that like ebooks.

And unfortunately basically everyone already owns a paper copy of Lord of the Rings (well, anyone with any interest in reading it and/or in reading ebooks), and yet it's still not legal to acquire an electronic copy... Not unless you type and/or scan in all ~1000 pages yourself.
I would love to have an electronic copy, and am waiting hopefully for when the copyright runs out so it can be converted by Gutenberg... Of course, I own my very own paperback copy of the trilogy, and the Hobbit, so I hardly consider that sentiment very 'evil'. Just got to wait another 50 or so years, I'm betting... Silly copyright laws.
