"Hugo?"

"Yeah, Lefty?"

"I miss Taylor."

"You missed Taylor? Were you aiming for his head? Even you couldn't miss that head!"

"Hugo, I think you're confusing the real person with the online representation thereof."

"Did you fall asleep on Zee's liseuseuse again? You confuse me when you speak like that."

"I miss Taylor. Where is he?"

"Chicago, and The Airport. Working, dating, having a blast."

"I don't like The Airport."

"I do... all those lovely neck pillows. Anyway, he's fine."

"We should make him come back."

"Do you have a plan?"

"Make Ricky sue him. Or Zelda could issue a proclamation..."

"Oh, I'm sure all she'd have to do is bat an eyelash."

"We could leave a trail of lint that leads to the laundry hamper..."

"Just because that worked on me doesn't mean it would work on Taylor."

There you are! Welcome back (are you?), PH.

Dating. Scary. Wouldn't ice cream be good enough?

Hello, Taylor.

You don't know me, but I know you.

On behalf of EVERYONE here, and I'm sure they'll all be checking in real soon on their own behalf,

WELCOME BACK.

YOU'VE BEEN MISSED.

YAY! I guessed it, where's my prizee!

In another thread wondering where you were, I hoped you were having too much fun in your new life and city to waste time on MR. I'm very happy to hear things are going well!

Thanks! I'm not so much "back" as "checking in". There is an inertia to these things, and I just don't have the time these days to catch up on all I've missed. I do lurk a lot, and I see my friends, old, new, and as yet unknown, are all still having a great time.

But I can stand only so many forlorn looks from Lefty, so felt compelled to drop in and say hello.

You've been gone for more than ten minutes haven't you?

:laugh4:

How many lifetimes would that take?

Glad you've breezed by, dude! Hope the life makeover is continuing to do well for ya! We got season tix for the Joffrey, so we'll be making occasional trips to the City starting this fall. We should plan a meet-up when convenient.

Glad to hear from you! Nice to know you didn't drown in some deep Chicago water-filled pothole, or something. Good to know things are going well.

A Chicago meet-up is a great idea. Should we pick a tentative time and place?

I wish! We are only driving up after work that Fri 7/24, going to the wedding 7/25, then heading home starting before dawn Sun morning. It's going to be a long hard weekend, but it is our goddaughter.

The first one is October 17th in the evening. We usually come in on the train Friday afternoon and stay til Sunday morning. We like to eat lunch at the Frango Cafe in Marshal Field's (not actually a Macy's) on Saturday. How about 12:00? I'll be the guy following the beautiful blonde, carrying the piles of boxes and bags, Dagwood style.

And dating... did the "may I sketch you" method actually pay off?

A Chicago meet-up is a great idea. Should we pick a tentative time and place?

I read this as "Should we pick some tentacles, slime and plaice?" and wondered at the kind of providores/restaurants/adult services they have in Chicago (and how much airfare from Brisbane would be)?

My misreading may have been intentional on some level.

G'day Taylor. I'd thought They had finally got you. I was gathering together the complete Forces of Apeness and every last Solid Gold Disco Dancing Pirate Ninja Squirrel Squadron from the grunkiest and smklrrngest corners of the multiverse to mount a rescue mission to save you from Them. Ah, well, I'll just throw a Hardcore Industry-Techno Bootscooting Linedance-Krunping Slumber Party at Chateau Pompette for my primal and and squiriferous little buddies - they always like that, especially when Adrian's 3DJing.

Nice to see you. Be strange, but don't be a stranger.

Cheers,
Marc (who misses his shiny-domed friend)

For you, that is a rather quiet party. Is something wrong?:snicker:

It's not paranoia if you get Them before they get you.

That'll be 300 free therapy sessions please. See all the locks on the door.

Cheers,
Marc

I don't know, but if I'm the gatekeeper, I'm pretty positive pshrynk doesn't want to be the keymaster.
