I just bought a used Kindle and it wouldn't power on so I figured the battery was low. I plugged it into the charger and it emitted a buzzing sound but the charging light did come on. Could this be damaging the circuit at all?
Edit: I am able to power it on while charging but the buzzing remains.

Shouldn't buzz at all.....you may have to call Amazon and talk to the support techs. They have probably seen this problem before

Are you sure that it is the Kindle itself that is buzzing? Some AC adapters emit a high-frequency whining noise.

If you haven't done so yet, by all means call KS......and let us know how it works out.
