My personal favorite that fits the Kindle perfectly, but still gives you plenty of room for other stuff is the Metrosafe 200 by Pacsafe.

Less expensive, has lots of security features built into it, and for the cruelty-free folks ... no leather. The Metrosafe 300 is also very nice, but a lot bigger. I ended up getting one of those as well.

Tom makes GREAT bags, pays a living wage and runs a very ethical ship...best CS around too. There was some discussion early on after the Kindle release about a carrier specific to the Kindle (or other ebook reader for that matter) but I never read it went anywhere. But this Small Cafe bag would more than fit the bill.

The Plum and Wasabi color is my favorite. I don't have one but I am looking for a bag that shape for my Kindle and all the stuff I carry on me :)

Has anyone found any bags that looks more like a regular pocket book and no a messenger bag. I'm looking for something that would be approximately 8" long by 10" tall with an approximately 6" strap.

I got the Case Logic eSling. It's a great size for my netbook, Sony Reader, a digital camcorder/camera and a few cables/chargers.
