Not very mechanically minded if they don't know their backend from their side.:D

That's interesting. Haven't seen the January issue yet, but in October 2008 there was an article on their website (http://www.popularmechanics.com/blogs/technology_news/4285781.html) that got it right.

The most important advance is an integrated LED front light (not, as I've seen it mischaracterized, a "backlight").
