Did you try to delete a document while the update was taking place or did this occur all by itself?

Others have reported similar issues. I'm still looking into it.

I may have tried to delete while an update was taking place, but I can't remember.

This issue is addressed in Sunrise 0.41a (http://laurens.typepad.com/sunrise/2005/01/sunrise_041a_re.html), which I released yesterday.
