I am using a T5. Previously I've been using Plucker. Iam getting an "unable to register conduit" error at the end of installing Sunrise 0.4a
Anyone with a T5 succeeding in the installation or is it just me?
Perhaps it is a compatibility problem with Hotsync Manager 6.0?

Thanks

The conduit hasn't been tested for compatibility with HotSync Mgr 6.0 yet. I didn't even know that version was already available outside of the Conduit Development Kit distribution. Did it come with the T5 installation CD?

The conduit is not absolutely necessary for Sunrise to function.

Yes, it comes with the T5 installation CD. But another user says it can be. I installed it now with the Hotsync option unchecked and convert the links to a folder and then manually copy them over to my T5 using palmOne's File transfer.
I can't think of an easier way :(

Hello, I have the same problem as you and a do it the same way (though with version 0.34 it worked).
I don't mind doing the sincronization this way, what I am concerned now is to install the downloades files in the internal drive.
The problem is that the Plucker doesn't update the document list from the internal drive. Is there any solution?

I looked into this and the problem is definitely not due to HotSync Mgr 6.0. I just installed the latest CDK on a clean machine and the conduit works fine. I know the conduit also works fine with the Treo650 (which comes with HotSync 6.0.)

This has something to do with the T|5 installation. Without an actual T|5 it's impossible to test, though, so I'm going to leave this as unresolved. The only thing I can think of is to do a complete reinstall of Palm Desktop.

Give Sunrise and Plucker a try, it is worth it!

I am using a Tungsten T and I get the same error when installing Sunrise. Is there a way to install the conduit manually?

You might want to try Sunrise 0.41b (http://laurens.typepad.com/sunrise/2005/02/sunrise_041b_re.html). The updated conduit in this version no longer depends on the MFC library.

Same error though installed version 0.41b :-(
and in the install directory I don't find the sunrise stub so I cannot view the docs on my handheld with plucker...

Still can't get the hotsync conduit to install. I have found using the command line tool SunsetCL works great and have created a shortcut to a batch file in Scheduled tasks so that it automatically syncs with the internet when I want it too. Almost as good as hotsyncing
