I have created a script to convert my CBZ CBR or directory with images in EPUB books.

Img2epub Converter

Description

Convert images into epub documents. ".epub" is the file extension of an XML format for reflowable digital books and publications.


Portability

Linux, Windows and potentially all OS where dependcies are ported to.

Input format

Supported file formats : .cbz, .cbr, directory


Output format

Supported file formats : .epub (http://www.idpf.org/)

Dependencies

ImageMagick
7-Zip
Cygwin (for MS Windows users) with following packages :

uuidgen (e2fsprogs : Ext2 filesystem utilities)
bash and common command line tools (sed, gawk, ...)

Python rewriting (tested with 2.5 for the moment).
No more dependencies on Cygwin for Windows.
