Fictionwise is set to unleash an upgraded eReader for iPhone (http://www.ereader.com/help/iphonefaq.htm). Happy iPhone users will soon be able to download eReader e-books from any website; have the option to lock the screen orientation; reverse video display; use tap instead of swipe for page turn; turn off page animation; use various sorting options inside the bookshelf, and enjoy various bug fixes and minor improvements!

Thanks to James of jkOnTheRun who has all the details (http://www.jkontherun.com/2008/07/ereader-for-the.html).

In a related news, Sammy of PalmAddicts provides us (http://palmaddict.typepad.com/palmaddicts/2008/07/here-is-your--2.html) with the latest coupon (ER72908) you can use to save 10% on any e-book purchased from eReader.com (good through August 5, 2008).

Will we have to download a new version from the App Store or just an upgrade?

My guess is you have to go the App Store icon and click the update button at the bottom right.

... use tap instead of swipe for page turn...

Now that is a needed improvement.

Ooo -- good stuff! BTW, all you have to do to get the twice-weekly coupons for 10% off, is to sign up for the mailing list at ereader.com. At least, that's what you did before they got bought. I suppose it's probably the same now. They are still sending me the mailing.
