I realize that your device is worth more than this, but I can pay you $165 plus shipping. Since I already have the USB cable and charger, I am pretty certain that I can buy a 500 for somewhere around that.

I was able to purchase a new PRS-505 directly from Sony for $160. I have a Sony credit card, and it turns out that I had a large number of points that I could use toward the purchase.
