When I save the files I have converted to a folder, Calibre appends the word unknown and a number to the end of the file name.

Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Right now the only thing I can do is go in with Windows Explorer and change the file names by hand.

I guess I don't understand. I set the title to the proper wording and the
Authur to blank. And I still get the added unknown and convert number.

OK, Three or four spaces equals blank and the unknown goes away.
But the convert number stays.

yeah the number is the id of the book in hte database. that's not going to go away
