Benito Pérez Galdós (1843-1920) is considered one of the greatest Spanish novelists. Maybe his most popular work are the "Episodios nacionales" (National Episodes), a series (actually 5 series) of historical novels depicting historical events in the Spanish 19th century.

The third novel in the first series is "El 19 de marzo y el 2 de mayo" (The 19th of March and the 2nd of May). This is a somewhat more romantic story, set during the fall of Godoy (the Prime Minister) and the uprising against the French forces in Madrid.

I created the PDF from the Cervantes Virtual Library text, with pdflatex. The book is nicely formatted and typeset, with table of contents, etc. It's also proofread. It has minimal margins, and 9pt font size ("-ss" stands for small screen), it may be too small for some people, but the source files are available on request if someone wants to try different settings.

I also added a "chapterbar" to the top of every page. It has two bars marking the progress on the whole book and on the current chapter, which I hope are unobtrusive and helpful enough.

Any kind of feedback is welcome.
