Check MR every 30 seconds. Drink lots of coffee or alcoholic beverages, depending on mood and time of day (no Zany Carter Deluxes before 10am). Quit job.

Cheers,
Marc (I hope this has been of some help)

Through iron determination, I don't put MR up on a tab till lunch time. Heck, if I brought it up any earlier it might interfere with my surreptitiously having a read on my Sony, er, I mean working hard. Yes, that's it.

I didn't get an eBook reader to sneak in the occasional chapter at work. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I got the Kindle for interstitial reading. Then I got caught up here, and now I spend my lunch hours doing my notes becasue I keep putting them off.

Running my own company (fancy term for self-employed) leaves me less time for my own pleasures than I had when I was an officer of larger firms. Then I could shut my door and "work on papers." (That was fine as long as my bandwidth requirements didn't slow down the LAN Admin's on-line games.)

My workflow nowadays:

Read MR, read, read, post, work, read, read, upload, read, read, oh yeah work, read, read, post... repeat!

My workflow nowadays:

Read MR, read, read, post, work, read, read, upload, read, read, oh yeah work, read, read, post... repeat!

:grin2:

What's strange though, when I first started on MR, I primarily looked up information about the various readers available on the market so I could decide upon a device - oh exiting times when all's possible - even an Illiad !!

Than I spent a brief time just downloading some of the classics.

Nowadays I spend about 98% of my time in the lounge section ... and I can't get out :uhoh: And I'm not the only one: you need only check the number of posts in lounge compared to the other sections ..

So what's the next level, quo vadis, whereto next ???

Work is still a heckish nightmare, but the beginning of a new quarter is Tues. A light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe then my mood will brighten back up to pink.

Its good to see that the glue we put on the chairs worked.

Seriously, I've just spent most of the day in the shower. The instructions on the shampoo said, "Lather, rinse, repeat" First the hot water ran out and I had to keep going with nothing but the cold water and the three-quarter full bottle of shampoo. At long last the shampoo did run out so I was able to stop.

Remember, "A stitch in time saves nine." especially when reading.

This is all well and good, but I still don't have a reader yet and I cannot elude this place whatsoever! You fine folks are more addicting than crack or whatever your particular vice of choice may be.

I've found myself check MR for new posts every couple of minutes at times, especially when I am trying to avoid getting back to work or studying :).

As you may notice by my posting pattern, it goes way up during exam times:D

I'm too cranky to play Santa. I got relieved of that duty forever when I said, "Ho, ho, f***ing ho!!"

No one got the humor in that, for some reason.:D

Yes -- if we are reading our e-reader books so avidly that the only movement is that ever so slight pressing of the "next page" button, I suppose we might be in danger of being prematurely entombed. By the non-observant onlooker. :chinscratch:

Oh, but this is worth waiting for. On so many levels.

1. No more Shrub the Lesser

2. Darth Dickie no longer a heart beat away...

3. State Dept no longer run by Condenasty

4. Justice can go back to being about justice, rather than politics.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....:xmas:
