This case is designed for Eee PC (Eee PC 8G, 4G 4G Surf, 2G surf). However, iLiad also fits. It cost me 650 NTD (about 22 USD) in Taiwan.

Check the url:
http://www2.elecom.co.jp/accessory/bag/zsb-ib008/index.asp

Its outer size: 255mmX190mm
Its inner containable size: 225mmX165mm

Quite strange, the specification on the website is different from the tag. If you want to buy it, take your iLiad with you and make sure if it fits.

Hey so how is that Zeroshock working out for your Ilaid? I was thinking of getting one for my DR1000 but I couldn't figure out if their soft cover might still run a high risk of breaking my screen in a bookbag. I wanted something that had a hardcover to protect the screen but maybe the Zeroshock is a good alternative.

Cool, I might have to pick one up then on eBay, I need something that I can easily take the device in and out of. I'm not a big fan of a bulky flip cover but it does its job so far. I'd probably cry if I switch to something else and then my screen got cracked...well I'd definitely cry. Thanks for the info

Thanks ericshliao for your heads up.
Amazon jp and Yodobashi both carry this.
Amazon seems cheaper. I will try this out this weekend at Yodobashi.

From this it seems there are different sizes:-8.9, 7,..
In case you have an MEdge cover, can you please tell if MEdge+Iliad fit in?
I would prefer the double protection just in case..:)

Lol, thats so funny. I just bought one for my DR1000S on eBay and I had the same plan. I got one thats a bit bigger than the device so I could put a portfolio type holder in there so the hard cardboard prevents bending. I hope it works, its crazy that there aren't more slim hard-case sleeves for tablet pcs. I searched all over google and couldn't find anything good. Everything is way to bulky the ZeroShock seemed like the best in terms of size but I want some extra protection against bending so I hope my plan works. Looks like you are going in a similar direction. Good Luck with it, mine should come in next week

I'm not familiar with the ZeroShock case, but if it's a soft case and doesn't have a hard shell to protect the screen, I would not recommend using it. The iLiad screens need the extra protection and are very expensive to replace.

There is a zip fastener on one side of the ZeroShock case. I put two wasted CDs there, then my ZeroShock case has hard shell now.

Yea its a soft shell case so I have to figure out something to make it a hard shell because if not its a no go for a travel case. My portfolio idea would work best in theory for me but I'll have to see how it goes when I actually get it. It does have a lot of shock protection in terms of if its dropped but it does need something to avoid the everday bending that might occur in your bag from people bumping into you, stuff moving around, etc

Saying "wasted cds" is redundant, I've had a stack of 50 CDRs with about 40 left for the past 2 years, its a rare occurrence that I need to burn a CD for something, putting them in that cover flap would be a good use I'll have to check it out.

ZeroShock III cases offer excellent protection as they come. They're made from a special type of high density memory foam which has a slow depression and slow return. If your looking for a slim netbook or laptop case, these are one of the best around.

They are available in a range of sizes from 7-17". If you need further details or pictures, the whole range is offered at GearZap.
