I was running Calibre with no problems on my MacBook Pro until I upgraded to OS X 10.5.3 yesterday. Now when I plug my PRS-505 in while Calibre is running I get the error message in the attached screen shot.

I am still able to access the PRS-505 through the finder window.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sigh there should be a law against apple releasing upgrades. I'll post a modified build here in a little bit, I don't expect it to solve anything but hopefully it will give a better error message. In the meanwhile, with your 505 connected what does the command

prs500 df

give you.

I tried 0.4.66 and everything seems to work ok. Thanks for the quick bit of help.
