I believe they are planning on a version of XP as the OS which may mean we can install our favorite etext reader software. The first version of the OLPC incorporated solar charging technology, and I expect that will not change.

That looks like a really interesting design. If they can get close to the $75 mark they're suggesting it'll be an impressive feat.
