Hi , I`m was wondering if it is possible to edit a book that has errors,currently looking at LIT format, also page layout is a narrow column (not good for reading!)

i know you can break the .lit format into an html file, which you can then edit. i have never tried to build a .lit file from html, but it might be possible, if that's the format you would like to end up with. do a search for "convertlit" to start.

also, if you have questions, you might post them in the "content" section ; there are many people who can help you here, but they might not see your question in this forum.

If it's not DRM'd then you could drop it into Book Designer, edit away, then save as a lit file.

Welcome, Archangel. I believe that I have once used Book Designer (search the Wiki) for this as it will import LIT format files. BD is nonintuitive (to me) and somewhat unforgiving but quite powerful. I'm not sure if there are any other options, but if there are, you may want to try them first.

LIT is probably the easiest format for format shifting overall.

Thanks , I dont know who scanned the original book but they obviously never read it on Pocket PC through Microsoft`s reader .
Will try BD and see if can make it legible :)
