Hi,
I would like an e-Ink Display as a secondary screen, so I can move any window from my tft display to the eink display to read it.
Do you know if there will be a device doing this? Could it be possible with a special driver for one of the current devices?

Not heard of such. Oh, I'm sure if you *could* get PVI (Prime View International, the makers of e-ink displays) to sell you just the e-ink display panel and the associated controller board you *could* whip up a standalone e-ink display unit, but I've not seen them offering individual pieces like that. And, believe me, I've asked them several times!

What a neat idea: a dedicated eink reader that can act as a secondary display for a standard PC/laptop. Drag a Word file or any other document onto the display for reading/perusal.

I doubt anyone would come out with a product that had such a feature. It seems like the demand would be very nitch. On the other hand, when video-capable full-color eInk finally hits the market, I could see eInk monitors being produced.
