I am a huge fan of RPGs but I cant seem to find any I like on the PPC. I was really excited to play legacy because I have heard nothing but good things about this game. I am sad to say I really wasnt impressed. The game is first person which was a strike against it for me personaly but I know there are people who like this style of game. Second the characters are randomly generated so there is no main characters or people to get attached to. Third after you kill enemies they dont come back. This was a big strike against it because that is one of the most fun parts about an RPG... leveling up! These are the main things that make an RPG but it is lacking in all of them. THere are many good points to this game though. The story line is fairly good which is a good redeaming point. THe developer has many expansion packs so if you like legacy you wont get board. Overall I didnt like the game but it is worth trying becaue it does appeal to many people and as for the ppc this may be the best RPG out right now. Try it here

I played Legacy for a long time on my Palm and I remember being a literally addicted to it.

But as you said, you have to like the one-person-perspective. As an old-school gamer who already played games like Bard's Tale on a Commodore 64, these kind of games is is what I grew up with.

Btw, nice to see someone posting reviews now. Great job, Team7!

Team7: We are seriously thinking how to develop our review section. So this is a great start!

Grab PocketDOS (http://www.pocketdos.com/) and try some of your old DOS favourites (Bards Tale, Ultima, Wizardry, etc). I love this emulator, especially with the new 386/486 CPU plugins.
