People here are really, really helpful, unless they post unutterable silly things, which seems to be quite the fad at the moment. Every gadget takes a while to get used to, and some gadgets are so customizeable, that you can do things with them that even the makers didn't think of. Most people here are happy to help even if they do sometimes spend most of their time with silly nonsense in The Lounge. I'd recommend that you instead start by checking out the Wiki to get some great overviews of the device and format conversion issues. Then, if you have specific questions, post them in the Sony section of the forum.
