I had a PRS500. I installed the Sony software and took the updates. I wasn't happy with the 500, admitted my gadget addiction and bought the PRS505. I still have the softwre on my laptop. So when I started using the 505 I didn't reinstall the software.

I am trying to set up collections on an SD card. I am sure I am going to feel like a fool when I find out what the problem is but I don't see any way to create compilations. I have even read the extremely thrilling help topics!!!

Can someone tell me what I am looking for or the (obvious) reason I don't see a way to set up a compliation?

Many thanks.

It works the same as making collections on the readers internal memory. Select the SD card, then click on the plus button on the bottom left of the screen.

I just wish you could sync to the card like you can to the main memory.

If you can put up with the lack of pre-formatting from libprs500, then the collection system is much neater than in the Sony Software. As long as you tag your books with the correct metadata, then libprs500 will automatically put them in collections when you sync to the device or the memory card.
