I got the predecessor of the eFlyBook [looks the same but w/o knee/stylus belt; have a look at my avatar] for my iLiad 1st ed.
My iLiad got a 2nd ed. case upgrade. iLiad still fits in the Jacket. :)

I think M-Edge was asked this Q several times. Maybe you should e-mail them.

Yep - I have, I actually intentionally went for the M-Edge eMotion PilotsBook Jacket - I constantly use my Iliad in meetings, at classes and at conferences I attend and I've found that the using strap has proved quite handy when sitting in a chair without any place to support the iliad other than my leg - it's saved the Iliad from getting knocked out of my hands more than once in crowded spaces with people moving around through narrow isles/spaces while I was note taking.

And the (or one of the) M-Edge shop(s) even features pictures of an iLiad in this case (slight pun intended):

Are both cover sides reinforced with a slab of plastic inside (as opposed to iLiad's shoulder bag, where only the front side has a reinforcement)?

Both sides are reinforced internally - not sure it's a "slab" of plastic - as it it flexible - but it's got the same reinforcement in both the front and back cover.

I tried the pilot's case at buymedge.com for my 2nd ed iLiad but I found it more bulky than the medge executive case so I didn't like it. They claim they will refund 100% if you return so I have just returned it and will see if I get the full refund.
