A timeless classic that captivated my imagination as a child.

I see that you had the same trouble with the graphics not aligning that I did. I was never able to solve it as Gutenberg split a lot of graphics into 2 or more pieces.

I've corrected the title to following the appropriate formatting conventions. Unless it's right, it gets indexed wrongly.

Thanks for the help. It's my second attempt at BD (the first is not in the PD,or else I would have posted it), and yes it does need some cleaning up. I was working on it until 4 am, so I had had enough, but I will try and improve it with page breaks and repost it later today.

edit-

Okay, I was able to correctly align all the illstrations in BD, but it wants to return them to the broken orientation they had originally when I make a Sony file. I have gone so far as to remove all the footnote, header settings etc in the Make Sony Reader File and I have set all the margins to '0'.

Any suggestions?

Great first effort! Yeah, putting these books together is a labor of love and frustration. I know exactly what you mean by staying up 'til 4:00 a.m.!

You ask for suggestions, so one suggestion is to attempt to remove the first page, which is actually blank.

Another problem is the "garbage" (for want of a better word) on the 3rd page (actually the 2nd page, if not counting the blank page.) This may have been the result of the automatic TOC (?)....not certain.

ANYWAY, what I want to say is "thank you" for your work on this!!!

Don

What I always wanted to do with the graphics is to combine them back into one piece but I'm not that good at it. Sorry if I came off a bit harsh in the prior post.

Ok the book is now much cleaner, bad page breaks are cleaned up-still having issues with some of the larger graphics with some misalignment where Gutenburg split them, but it's not too bad now anyways.
Rwood, you didn't come off as harsh at all, I appreciate knowing I am not the only one here having trouble with this worthy endeavor.
