There already is a lit2lrf converter; it's called LIT2LRF and is part of libprs500. You can find it here: http://libprs500.kovidgoyal.net/ If you need help with it, there is already a support thread. You can find it here: http://libprs500.kovidgoyal.net/ If you need help with it, there is already a support thread. I'm having problems with that; I've spoken to the creator already. So no, I'm not kiddoing. :smack: JSWolf 02-27-2008, 04:20 PM What exactly is not working for you? OUTATIME 02-27-2008, 04:36 PM What exactly is not working for you? Just on a lot of LIT conversion I've tried I get funky error messages; as I say I talked to the creator of Libprs about it. I was just seeing if there was a simple stand-alone program for knocking out conversions. JSWolf 02-27-2008, 05:56 PM Are you trying to convert LIT files that have DRM? And what version libprs500 are you using? OUTATIME 02-27-2008, 06:52 PM Are you trying to convert LIT files that have DRM? And what version libprs500 are you using? No, no DRM. Using version 0.4.38, the latest version I believe. OUTATIME 02-27-2008, 06:54 PM The few that have worked generally convert into a weird line/paragraph layout, strange breaks in lines etc. hidalgo1301 02-27-2008, 07:46 PM Never had any problems here...the creator of the program is very good on following up on bugs. Just visit the support thread and state the nature of your problem. Good Luck AnemicOak 02-28-2008, 09:14 AM Have you tried the lit2lrf command line program instead of running it through libprs500 to see if that will work? If you're running Windows & Word you should be able to load them in Book Designer, but it's not so quick. HarryT 02-29-2008, 08:44 AM Explode the LIT file to HTML using "Convert LIT". Does the HTML version look OK? |
